In 2022, I competed in a university design contest in collaboration with the Representative for Disabled People of the City of Munich (Behindertenbeauftragte*r München). I placed second in only my second semester of study. The task was to design a poster campaign against ableism that draws attention to their support services in cases of discrimination, with a focus on accessible design.
The campaign’s claim, “AUCH ICH” (“me too”), refers to disabled people in everyday activities they may be excluded from due to discrimination. It appeals to the citizens of Munich to help create an inclusive city in which everyone can feel a sense of belonging. In addition to the posters, stickers with Braille were created to make the campaign as inclusive as possible.
Since then, I have upadated the design and added a new logo, a flyer, and a social media account to showcase the developed brand identity.
